This is the Privacy Policy of THE TRUSTEE FOR JENMARIE FAMILY TRUST Jenmarie Pty Ltd trading as Bella Brazilian ABN 92 780 796 487 (‘Bella Brazilian’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’). This Privacy Policy sets out Bella Brazilian’s obligations in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (‘APP’) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (‘Privacy Act’). This policy also takes into consideration requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies to European Union (EU) residents who interact with us. Where the terms ‘information’ or ‘personal information’ are used in this policy this is a reference to both ‘personal information’ as defined in the Privacy Act and to ‘personal data’ for the purposes of the GDPR (if applicable). This Privacy Policy sets out the different types of information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do if you would like to remove yourself from our mailing list or change any details we may keep about you. What information we collect
Bella Brazilian will collect information from you when you visit our website, purchase from us or interact with us online. The types of information we collect are:
- Member details: As a member of the Bella Brazilian website, we will collect your name and email address. When you elect to become a member, you will also be placed on our mailing list of our third party mail application Mailchimp.
- Order details: When you place an order, we will collect your name, email address, billing address, delivery address and telephone number. This information must be provided by you to allow us to process and delivery your online order with us and to contact you about your order if necessary.
- Payment information: We do not process your payments through our website. All payments are processed through PayPal and personal information collected at this point of your order is managed by PayPal.
- When you use our website: General website traffic data is collected for the purpose of website management and improvements and provides us with information about which and how often certain pages and content are viewed. This enables us to understand what our customers are interested in and brings our attention to any areas of our website which may require improvement or enhancement. The data we collect may be your IP address, your approximate geolocation and information about your current web browser and device you were accessing our website on (operating system version, browser type and version, computer type, MAC address and screen resolution). This is collected to enable us to ensure our website is performing at its optimum across multiple platforms and devices. Cookies and other tracking technologies are used by us and our third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners and our fraud prevention service provides, to provide functionality and to recognise you across different services and devices. You may opt out of sending us cookie data but this may adversely affect your experience using our services.
- Enquiries: When you make an enquiry with us either online using our contact form, by phone, through social media or direct email, we may collect your name and contact details in order to respond to your enquiry.
If you do not provide us with the information above, we may not be able to provide our products or treatments to you.
Why do we collect this information?
Bella Brazilian collects your personal information to:

When visitors leave comments and reviews on our website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture (if available) may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Visitors are not permitted to upload images to our website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. So we can provide you with updates, promotions and special offers, we do use third party applications which may collect data about you, use cookies and monitor your interaction with that application. Your personal and/or digital information that is accessed by our third party applications is used by us so we can provide you with improved customer service. We never sell or share your personal information for any use other than customer service. All personal information input into this website is used solely to manage your online account with us. When you make a booking with us through our website, you will be redirected to our booking system’s online portal. All information input into the booking system’s portal is used for booking and storefront customer management purposes only.
Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties:
- if we are required to by law
- to prevent payment fraud
- if we have your written consent to do so or otherwise when we are authorised by law
- as a part of our business operations for bookings and record of sales
- to enable our website and your shopping experience to perform as it was intended
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website and create an account, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. You are able to delete your account or personal information at any time. We will, on written request, remove your account or information stored within your account – please see below.
We will retain your personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

What rights you have over your data

We will comply with your request within a reasonable period after your request is received. We reserve the right to charge a fee for providing access to your information when permitted by law. If we delete your information we may not be able to provide products, services or information to you or be able to provide them to the same standard as if we had your information.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Payments and personal information used to make those payments are processed through PayPal. By placing an order with us, your information such as name, address, email address will be sent to Mailchimp and Google to enable us to ensure our order process was as you expected it to be. When making a booking by clickin the Book Now button on any of our treatments, your personal information will be sent to our Shortcuts, our salon management system. Again this is to enable us to provide you with a streamlined experience from website to booking or purchase.
What about links to other websites?
This Privacy Policy is strictly limited to the collection, storage and use of personally identifiable information collected by Bella Brazilian in the course of our business. It does not apply to any third parties. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of any third party websites, and assume no liability for the privacy practices of those websites. We urge visitors to take the time to examine individual privacy policies and guidelines on other websites.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
Changes to our Privacy Policy are subject to change without notice. Whenever changes to this privacy policy are made, they will be uploaded to our website immediately.
